Mommy Life & Lovin'

I love being a mommy so much! Exclusively breastfeeding with little luck using the pump and being able to bottle feed has occasionally taken it's toll on me, but I am still very glad with the choice I have made. She has been going through a growth spurt so for a few days she was eating NONSTOP and then the past couple days she has just been sleeping away. It is just blowing me away how fast she is growing and I can't wait to find out how much she weighs at her next appointment (Definitely not looking forward to the shots though.) She is such a smart little girl and smiles so much now. It is the best feeling in the world to walk up when someone else is holding her and have her turn her head and give me a huge gummy grin as soon as she hears my voice (and that goes for her daddy too, of course!) She is just so interactive and is "ahhing" and "cooing" all the time now. She is a pretty good sleeper; generally sleeping in chunks of 4-5 hours during the night. We just got her a new activity mat which she loves! She will be seven weeks this Monday. Time is flying!

Ryan and I began the insanity workout DVD's this week, so I'll be sure to keep you all updated on how that INSANITY is going. It really is insane. I'm barely walking...

My very good childhood friend, Brie, has two sons. Today was her first son's first birthday party and she also has a son who is 10 days older than Adalynn. It was a lot of fun seeing what we have to look forward to watching her one year old and is so awesome to have kids so close together since we grew up together too. 

Her son's names are Kameron and Zain. The pictures aren't the best, I apologize.
