Between being at home and sitting down the majority of the time (due to a very hungry, nursing baby) I decided it was time for me to find some kind of hobby. After coming to the decision that I am not very crafty and the realization that anything outside of the house on a regular basis was out of the question for the moment, I decided blogging might be something I'll enjoy (and who knows, I might just be good at it too!) It also seems like a much better way for family members to keep up with our family, more importantly our growing little girl, than facebook. Adalynn was born on June 10, 2013 (6 lbs 10 oz, 20 1/2 in long) and is five weeks old as of this Monday. Let me tell you, those five weeks FLEW by and I feel like she is already twice as big as when we left the hospital. I have been staying home with our sweet girl while Daddy Ryan has been working his behind off landscaping while going to school as well. I can't tell you all how much I appreciate all of his hard work and how much my love for him has grown seeing how much he loves our little girl. The past five weeks have mostly just been loving and learning about our new little one, but this past weekend, at just shy of 5 weeks old, Adalynn took her first long car trip! The circumstances were not so good as my Grandfather in Arkansas passed away, but we did have a very good time visiting with friends and family that hadn't been seen in a long time. It was also nice to have those at his funeral celebrating Addie, a new life, while mourning the loss of another. I also enjoyed the opportunity to introduce Ryan to family members that I myself wasn't very familiar with before this visit. So that's a very quick update on what has been going on with us lately to start this off. I'm sure I'll think of much more I forgot to mention, but as interesting and wonderful as our little girl is, I'm sure I'll make up for it very quickly.
I love that last picture of your sweet Addie! SO CUTE
